Welcome! I’m Isabella DeLeo, a journalist originally from Rhode Island, currently based in New York studying for a Master’s at the Columbia School of Journalism. I cover local news, arts and culture, and gender. You can find my work at places like Paste magazine, The Brooklyn Ink, Awards Circuit, Providence Monthly, Screen Queens, Hey Rhody, East Side Monthly, SO Rhode Island, Film Daze, Motif magazine, and more.

I’ve worked in film programming for the Rhode Island International Film Festival, researched for Boston’s PBS-member station (WGBH), worked in administration for James Patterson Entertainment/Little, Brown and Co., and associate produced a lifestyle television show for Rhode Island PBS. I love Belle and Sebastian, movies, public radio and my dog, Sadie. I maintain that Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is a criminally underrated film.
