I’m a freelance writer and reporter. I like writing about all kinds of things, but I specialize in arts and culture reporting, narrative writing, reviews & criticism, lifestyle and entertainment news.
Stuff I’m doing/have done:
Currently, I’m an Editorial Fellow at Fatherly, where I write daily news articles and help out with audience engagement. You can also find me in Paste magazine, Yahoo, MSN, Providence Monthly, the Shoe Leather Podcast, Directed by Women, Film Daze, The Brooklyn Ink, and more. In addition to freelance writing and journalism, I also take on marketing/copywriting clients, including the video-on-demand service Flix Premiere.
Previously, I worked in video production and research at WGBH, in publishing for James Patterson Entertainment and Little, Brown and Company, as a reporter for Providence Media’s five local magazines and as an associate producer for a Rhode Island PBS show called Today’s Woman New England. I earned an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and an M.A. in film and media theory from Brown University. Follow me on Twitter: @isabellabdeleo or on LinkedIn.
