I’m a freelance writer, reporter, producer and recent graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where I served as the President of the Women in Media Society. I like writing about all kinds of things, but in particular I specialize in arts and culture reporting, narrative writing, reviews & criticism, lifestyle and entertainment news.

I’ve worked in video production and research at WGBH, in publishing for James Patterson Entertainment and Little, Brown and Company, as a reporter for Providence Media’s five local magazines and as an associate producer for a Rhode Island PBS show called Today’s Woman New England.

I’m currently a regular contributor for Paste magazine.

From Rhode Island and am now based in Chicago. I have two lovable cats, Percy and Achilles.
